On 24 February 2022, Russia attacked Ukraine and started the biggest war in the heart of Europe since World War II
Exodus-2022
Testimonies of Jewish Refugees from the Russo-Ukrainian War
We have documented hundreds of testimonies since February 24, 2022. Every third of them from the most hard-hit cities: Mariupol, Kharkiv, Bucha, Irpin, Chernihiv. Injuries and deaths of loved ones, survival under artillery shelling and bombing, often in basements without electricity, gas, communications and a minimum amount of water and food, evacuation through dozens of Russian checkpoints, interrogations by the FSB - all these stories will soon appear on our website in the public domain.

Double Refugees: A Series of Video Meetings
For the first time since World War II and the establishment of the State of Israel, tens of thousands of Jewish refugees emerged in the world. For some of them, this is their second evacuation - the first was in 1941 from the Nazis, the second in 2022 from the Russians.
We invite you to meet these double refugees and Holocaust survivors, ready to share their extraordinary stories from two eras. You will witness the "Jewish" chronicle of the Russo-Ukrainian war, which will be documented in books and scientific monographs years later.
But all this will happen in the future, while today you will feel the living breathing of history - this moment is worth a lot.
The fifth video meeting will take place on June 25, 2023 at 17:00 (Ukraine and Israel Time Zone / GMT+2) / 16:00 (Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc. / CET) / 10:00 (New York, USA / GMT-5).
